Tal graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 1987 and joined Henry & Peters in 1993 after working for a CPA firm in Kilgore, Texas and working with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent. Tal provides tax planning, reporting and compliance services for individuals, partnerships and corporations, trusts, gifts, and estates. His industry concentrations include personal service providers, wholesale and retail sales, health care providers, manufacturing companies, and non-profit organizations. Tal provides assurance and advisory services for governmental entities, non-profit organizations, health care institutions, small businesses, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing companies. Tal’s consulting services include estate planning and developing business and financial plans for various businesses. Tal is a member of the AICPA and TSCPA and is active or has been involved with the following organizations: President of the Tyler YMCA, Treasurer of the Tyler Police Foundation, Board Member for the Tyler Sunrise Rotary Club, Past President of the East Texas Chapter of TSCPA, Board Member for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a graduate of Leadership Tyler Class XIV. Tal and his wife Holly enjoy traveling, outdoor activities with their pet Labrador retriever “Daisy”, watching classic movies, and boating on area lakes. Additionally, Tal is an avid college/pro football fan, and hopes to find that perfect 1960’s muscle car to add to the garage. |
