Misty graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Accounting, specializing in Taxation. Prior to joining Henry & Peters, Misty worked for Ernst & Young, LLP in both San Antonio and Dallas.
Misty provides tax planning, reporting and compliance services for individuals, partnerships and corporations, trusts, and estates as well as consulting services related to income tax accounting and reporting. Her industry concentrations have included developers, owners, and operators of real estate, private equity, oil and gas, and professional & personal service entities.
Misty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is involved with the Junior League of Tyler and the Women’s Fund of Smith County.
