Gary is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and joined Henry & Peters in 1996. Gary provides assurance and advisory services to a broad range of clientele with an emphasis on financial institutions, medical manufacturing companies, employee benefit plans, wholesale and retail sales companies, and non-profit organizations. He also provides tax planning and reporting services for corporations and individuals and consulting services to businesses in connection with identifying fraud risks and the development and implementation of accounting and internal control procedures. Additionally, Gary provides forensic accounting services related to internal investigations, internal control issues, and accounting-based litigation.
Gary is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and is active or has been involved with the following organizations: Treasurer for Smith County Champions for Children, Sunday School Teacher for Children’s Ministry at Green Acres Baptist Church, Treasurer for the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, Contact Club member for the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce, graduate of Leadership Tyler Class XV, Treasurer for the American Cancer Society Cattle Baron Gala, committee chair for the East Texas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, and Board Member and Treasurer for the Literacy Council of Tyler.
Gary and his wife Monica have two daughters, Ava and Anna. Gary enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching college football.
