Gerri was born in Central Texas but later moved to East Texas. She graduated from Henderson High School and Kilgore College. She is a licensed CPA and earned her bachelor’s Magna Cum Laude from DeVry University and took post-graduate courses at the University of Texas Permian Basin.
Prior to joining Henry & Peters she was the Controller for an independent oil & gas producer for 6 years. Gerri has a broad range of experience assisting small to medium-sized businesses in the oil and gas industry, service industries, retail stores, real estate, and more. Gerri specializes in QuickBooks setup, training, and management as well as other Accounting Solutions processes.
Gerri and her husband Rick live in Kilgore, Texas. She enjoys church activities, decorating, music, and spending time with her family. Gerri is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
